What is Re:Supply?

Re:Supply is a low-waste store. We offer a wide range of package-free sustainable living products, as well as bulk shelf-stable foods and cleaning products. Our goal is to meet you where you are in your journey and help you find ways to reduce your waste and fight climate change. We also provide workshops and education to help you along on your zero waste journey.

How do I shop in bulk with my own container?

It’s simple! Just bring in a clean, dry, empty container and follow the steps below:

1. Weigh your empty jar on our scale to obtain the tare weight, and write it on your container. with one of our erasable pencils.

2. Fill your container with whatever bulk goodies you would like!

3. Bring the filled container to the checkout where we will weigh it again, subtracting the tare weight from the final weight, to obtain the weight of the contents inside. This way you only pay for the contents of the container!

What kind of container can I use?

Whatever you like! Glass jars, reused takeaway containers, empty yogurt tubs, old pump bottles, ziplocs - whatever works for you,works for us.

When choosing containers, think about what you already have at home that you could refill. One of the best things about bulk is avoiding all the extra materials of new packaging, so reusing something you currently have is the most earth-friendly choice. Don’t feel like shopping in bulk means that you can only bring in mason jars. Your containers don’t have to fit a ‘zero waste’ instagram aesthetic to be a great option.

Why do some of your products come in packaging if you claim to be package-free?

Unfortunately, we cannot avoid all types of packaging due to FDA regulations, supplier policies, etc. However, we make sure to avoid single-use plastic and excessive packaging, and ensure any packaging products may come in is fully reusable, compostable, or recyclable. We also work with our suppliers to ensure they send products to us with the least amount of packaging possible, and we try to repurpose reuse every bit of packing material.

What if I forget my reusable containers or bags?

Don’t worry about it! While we encourage you to bring your own containers and bags, we will have options for you in the event you forget. In addition to the wide range of reusable containers and bags we have available for sale, we have paper bags for use and donated jars available for free.

How can I become a vendor at Re:Supply?

How can I start my own refill shop in my community?

Interested in starting your own refill shop? We’ve learned everything the hard way so that you don’t have to. You can set up an initial consultation call for $50 to decide if you think that consultation is beneficial for you.
